We contemplate the Fire and the Rose

We've always been taught that good destroys evil
We've always been taught that Christ would prevail
We've always been told there's truth in the symbols
We've seen for ourselves that flame destroys all

If the Fire consumes the Rose
Then evil would triumph over good
And if Satan shall win the immortal fight
Does that mean that God is not God?
