Notice, the line that's stuck out to me
"You think that I don't notice, but I do"
And it's such an intimate lyric (yeah)
And, I think it's how we all really feel
When we become one with our life partners (totally)
Those things that they do everyday that you just are in love with (yeah, for sure)

What's so interesting I think about this record is
At least as far as the love songs go, obviously Blessed is just a straight up
You are the most amazing human being I've ever seen in my life
But there's a couple on here, that we'll get into a little bit later with Dream You Never Had
But notice to me, it's such a different way that I've written about Lauren

You know on Instagram, Twitter and all these stuffs
It's so much of this #CoupleGoals and
When can I find somebody that loves his wife the way that Thomas Rhett loves Lauren? And-
And this is kind of a deeper look it like real life
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I think this song could relate to any marriage, any situation

Because I think we've been married for six years now
And we live such a life where we're so busy
My brain is in the clouds, so much of the time
Thinking about work, or thinking about why I haven't worked out in five days
Or thinking about this or thinking about that
And uhm, you know I think vice versa

Sometimes we get into these little, I don't wanna call them ruts
But they're just like, "Do you hear me, today?"
"Do you hear what I'm saying today?"
"'Cause I feel like you're somewhere else in you head"
And I think that's a very, very natural thing to happen in a relationship

But this song was like
Hey, if I were to tell you that you look amazing
I would literally say it every 15 seconds
If I were to tell you, you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
I would tell you every second
And this song is saying
I realize my downfall as a husband of not saying that you are perfect at all times of the day
But this is me going all these little things that you do

The way that you brush your hair
The way that you blush when you drink red wine
The way that you still cry when you see a big sun set
I notice all of this, like you never go unnoticed to me
And, and I think Lauren will say the same thing about me

Because there are times and I'm like
Where you at today?
And really that's kind of the basis of this song
I think it's really cool to get into more of the dit-ness of our relationship
Rather than giving our lives as a fairy tale, and
It's all roses and gold
Because it's just like every other relationship
We struggle with same stuff everybody else does, and
And this is kind of a note to that

Keith Urban talks about being present (yeah)
And that what this song hit me
It's like, we don't have to be talking (yeah)
But you just need to know that, I got you (yeah exactly) yeah
And I know you, and I'm with you (exactly)
And I don't know that there's really anything more powerful (agreed)

Bemerkung, die Zeile, die mir aufgefallen ist
"Du denkst, dass ich es nicht bemerke, aber ich tue es"
Und es ist so ein intimer Text (ja)
Und ich denke, so fühlen wir uns alle wirklich
Wenn wir eins werden mit unseren Lebenspartnern (absolut)
Diese Dinge, die sie jeden Tag tun, in die du einfach verliebt bist (ja, sicher)

Was ich an dieser Aufnahme so interessant finde, ist
Zumindest was die Liebeslieder angeht, offensichtlich ist "Blessed" einfach nur
Du bist der erstaunlichste Mensch, den ich je in meinem Leben gesehen habe
Aber es gibt hier ein paar, auf die wir später noch eingehen werden, mit "Dream You Never Had"
Aber "Notice" ist für mich eine ganz andere Art, wie ich über Lauren geschrieben habe

Weißt du, auf Instagram, Twitter und all diesen Sachen
Es ist so viel von diesem #CoupleGoals und
Wann kann ich jemanden finden, der seine Frau so liebt, wie Thomas Rhett Lauren liebt? Und-
Und das ist irgendwie ein tieferer Einblick in das echte Leben
Weißt du, was ich meine?
Ich denke, dieses Lied könnte sich auf jede Ehe, jede Situation beziehen

Weil ich denke, wir sind jetzt seit sechs Jahren verheiratet
Und wir leben so ein Leben, in dem wir so beschäftigt sind
Mein Gehirn ist die meiste Zeit in den Wolken
Ich denke an die Arbeit oder daran, warum ich seit fünf Tagen nicht trainiert habe
Oder ich denke an dies oder jenes
Und ähm, weißt du, ich denke umgekehrt

Manchmal geraten wir in diese kleinen, ich will sie nicht Trott nennen
Aber sie sind einfach wie: "Hörst du mich heute?"
"Hörst du, was ich heute sage?"
"Weil ich das Gefühl habe, dass du mit deinem Kopf woanders bist"
Und ich denke, das ist eine sehr, sehr natürliche Sache, die in einer Beziehung passiert

Aber dieses Lied war wie
Hey, wenn ich dir sagen würde, dass du fantastisch aussiehst
Ich würde es buchstäblich alle 15 Sekunden sagen
Wenn ich dir sagen würde, dass du das Schönste bist, was ich je gesehen habe
Ich würde es dir jede Sekunde sagen
Und dieses Lied sagt
Ich erkenne mein Versagen als Ehemann, dass ich nicht sage, dass du zu jeder Tageszeit perfekt bist
Aber das bin ich, der all diese kleinen Dinge bemerkt, die du tust

Die Art, wie du dein Haar bürstest
Die Art, wie du errötest, wenn du Rotwein trinkst
Die Art, wie du immer noch weinst, wenn du einen großen Sonnenuntergang siehst
Ich bemerke all das, du bleibst mir nie unbemerkt
Und ich denke, Lauren wird dasselbe über mich sagen

Weil es Zeiten gibt, da bin ich wie
Wo bist du heute?
Und das ist eigentlich die Grundlage dieses Liedes
Ich finde es wirklich cool, mehr auf die Kleinigkeiten unserer Beziehung einzugehen
Anstatt unser Leben als Märchen darzustellen, und
Es ist alles Rosen und Gold
Weil es wie jede andere Beziehung ist
Wir kämpfen mit den gleichen Problemen wie alle anderen, und
Und das ist irgendwie eine Anmerkung dazu

Keith Urban spricht davon, präsent zu sein (ja)
Und das hat mich bei diesem Lied getroffen
Es ist so, als müssten wir nicht reden (ja)
Aber du musst einfach wissen, dass ich für dich da bin (ja genau) ja
Und ich kenne dich, und ich bin bei dir (genau)
Und ich weiß nicht, ob es wirklich etwas Mächtigeres gibt (einverstanden)
