And talking to Thomas about the Deluxe version of this album
And, you know, the song that kind of inspired the title
"Tangled Up", it's actually called "Tangled"
And it's kind of out there
Tell me about choosing this song for this album

When I heard that song, I was like
"There's no way we're gonna be able to cut this on the record
It's just so out there"
This band called The Shadowboxers wrote it
And uh, I never in a million years thought I could actually pull off the vocal
To tell you the truth, it's just so high
And there's a lot of falsetto going on
So this is definitively one of the most challenging songs I cut on the album
But definitively one of the most fun
And I think that this is kinda
This is kind of like the sister song to make me want
Just a little bit more progressive to me

Well, you know what they say
"A good song is a good song"
And it's kinda funky, but I love this

Als ich diesen Song hörte, dachte ich:
"Auf keinen Fall werden wir das auf der Platte unterbringen können.
Es ist einfach so abgefahren."
Diese Band namens The Shadowboxers hat ihn geschrieben
Und ähm, ich hätte mir nie träumen lassen, dass ich den Gesang tatsächlich hinbekommen würde
Um ehrlich zu sein, ist er einfach so hoch
Und da ist eine Menge Falsett im Spiel
Das ist also definitiv einer der anspruchsvollsten Songs, die ich auf dem Album aufgenommen habe
Aber definitiv einer der lustigsten
Und ich denke, das ist irgendwie
Das ist so etwas wie der Schwester-Song zu 'Make Me Wanna'
Für mich nur ein bisschen progressiver
