Tell me if you uh, agree with my thought process on this
When I was listening to this song, it, to me, it almost sounds like the older
More sultry sibling of "T-Shirt"
(Yeah, absolutely)
It's still playful, that irresistible feeling (yeah)
But it's a little sexier (yeah)
A little bit more grown up

It definitely is, and you know "T-Shirt"
When we play our sets, "T-Shirt" is one of the biggest songs we play in our show
The melody is infectious but it also has that, uhm
Just like, era of time when it doesn't matter what kind of music you like
You were just a fan of those songs
If that makes any sense

And I think "When You Look Like That" is one of those songs that
I think even the most traditional country music listeners, will listen to that
And be like, "I can't get down of that"
You know what I mean? Like I can get on the dance floor and groove out to that song and so
And one of my huge idols from the 90s David Lee Murphy was a co-writer on this song
And when I heard the demo of him singing it
It just made it that much more desirable to me
Uh, and it's one of the few that I didn't write that, I just
You know, I never could get it out of my head from the first time I heard it

Well, I just, I think it shows an evolution and a growth in you (yeah)
As a person and I love this song, it's called "When You Look Like That"
And it's sexy, it's Thomas Rhett on Big Machine Radio

sag mir, ob du, ähm, meiner Denkweise zustimmst.
Als ich mir diesen Song anhörte, klang er für mich fast wie der ältere,
sinnlichere Bruder von "T-Shirt".

Es ist immer noch verspielt, dieses unwiderstehliche Gefühl (ja),
aber es ist ein bisschen sexier (ja),
ein bisschen erwachsener.

Das ist es definitiv, und weißt du, "T-Shirt",
wenn wir unsere Sets spielen, ist "T-Shirt" einer der größten Songs, die wir in unserer Show spielen.
Die Melodie ist ansteckend, aber es hat auch diese, ähm,
einfach diese Ära, in der es egal ist, welche Art von Musik du magst,
du warst einfach ein Fan dieser Songs,
wenn das irgendeinen Sinn ergibt.

Und ich denke, "When You Look Like That" ist einer dieser Songs, bei dem
ich denke, dass selbst die traditionellsten Country-Musik-Hörer sich das anhören
und sagen werden: "Da kann ich nicht widerstehen."
Weißt du, was ich meine? Ich kann auf die Tanzfläche gehen und zu diesem Song abgrooven, und so,
und eines meiner großen Idole aus den 90ern, David Lee Murphy, war ein Co-Autor dieses Songs.
Und als ich die Demo hörte, wie er es sang,
