Bringt er eine Maus daher

Hat kein Fell und keine Füße
Wenn ihr's euch mal zeigen lasst
Tut er's gern, ich wette fast!

Nun, Mamachen, denkt euch bloß
Geht das Spiel erst richtig los!
Nun muss es der Maus gelingen
Sich in Sicherheit zu bringen
Dort wo ihr so unentwegt
Meine Ehre hin verlegt!

Doch die Maus, sie hält nicht still
Denn sie weiß nicht was sie will
Dass sie diese Jagd nicht leid wird!
Ob sie nicht einmal gescheit wird?

Nein, wie dann Eugène sich plagt
Wenn er dieses Mäuslein jagt!
Wenn ich hinschau muss ich kichern

Diese Spielchen, wärt ihr hier
Macht' euch soviel Spaß wie mir!

Wenn sie nicht mehr laufen kann
Fängt die Maus zu weinen an!
Eugène muss das traurig finden
Drum lässt er sie gleich verschwinden
Damit ist das Spiel dann aus
Und wir zwei geh'n brav nach Haus!

Mein Cousin ist wundervoll
Spiele weiß der – einfach toll!
Morgen, sagt er, zur Belohnung
Lern' ich auch eins für die Wohnung
Das macht auch viel Spaß, sagt er
Wenn ich's kann schreib ich euch mehr!

Nun, Mama, seid ihr im Bild!
Ich hab' euren Wunsch erfüllt
Denn ich habe schon seit Wochen
Nie mit fremden Jungs gesprochen!
Ihr könnt ganz beruhigt sein
