It's got a beak, so must be some sort of bird

It's an ostrich

Are you hiding behind that fence?
What lovely, woolly fur you have
And listen, can you hear that?
Baa, baa, baa
It's a sheep

There's no animal here, surely
This is just the washing, hanging up on the line
Listen, can you hear that?
And is that a beak behind the sheet?
And are they feet?
Yes, look, orange, webbed feet
It's a goose

The sheep, are being chased
But, what's that chasing them?
Four legs, a long bushy tail
A loud bark, and he's very good at rounding up the sheep
It's a sheep dog

Look, there's a worm, popping out of the ground
Look out for birds, Mr. Worm
Hold on, that's no worm, it's a tail
There's two pointy teeth, and long tickly whiskers
It's a mouse

Diese frechen Bauernhoftiere spielen heute schon wieder Verstecken?
Was kommt denn da über den Hügel?
Spitze, lockige Hörner und ein lautes Blöken.
Es ist eine Ziege, mein Lieber.
Da hat jemand großen Hunger heute.
Frisst viel, viel, viel leckeres Heu.

Da ist eine lange, flauschige Mähne.
Aber ich glaube nicht, dass es ein Pferd ist.
Oh, es ist ein Esel, mein Freund.

Ist das ein Schwanz?
Was, kommt da Rauch aus diesem Schwanz?
Das ist seltsam, es kann kein Schwanz sein, und Räder?
Kein Tier, das ich kenne, hat Räder.
Es ist gar kein Tier.
Es ist ein Traktor, Schatz.

Da ist ein Gesicht über der Hecke, das hin und her läuft.
Es hat einen Schnabel, muss also eine Art Vogel sein.
Wow, was für ein langer Hals, komm raus.
Es ist ein Strauß, mein Lieber.

Hallo, kleines Gesicht.
Versteckst du dich hinter diesem Zaun?
Was für ein schönes, wolliges Fell du hast.
Und hör mal, kannst du das hören?
Mäh, mäh, mäh.
Es ist ein Schaf, mein Freund.

Hier ist sicher kein Tier.
Das ist nur die Wäsche, die an der Leine hängt.
Hör mal, kannst du das hören?
Und ist das ein Schnabel hinter dem Laken?
Und sind das Füße?
Ja, schau, orangefarbene Schwimmfüße.
Es ist eine Gans, mein Lieber.

Die Schafe werden gejagt.
Aber, was jagt sie denn?
Vier Beine, ein langer buschiger Schwanz.
Ein lautes Bellen, und er ist sehr gut darin, die Schafe zusammenzutreiben.
Es ist ein Schäferhund, mein Freund.

Schau, da ist ein Wurm, der aus dem Boden kommt.
Pass auf die Vögel auf, Herr Wurm.
Moment, das ist kein Wurm, es ist ein Schwanz.
Da sind zwei spitze Zähne und lange, kitzlige Schnurrhaare.
Es ist eine Maus, mein Schatz.
