もしその願いが明日叶うと知ったら 7日目を生きたのかい?
悲しみだけなんて 忘れる事なんて出来ないから

今は全て忘れても良いよ いつかまた 大事な事だけを思い出せば良い

7日で世界を創造した神と
地震の一週間前に座礁して行くイルカの群れと
週末の東京駅 毎週泣いてるあの子との7日じゃ
どれが一番長いかな?

戦争で左手を失った祖父に
死ぬ以上の悲しみが この世界に在ったか? と問えば
あると言えばあったな 無いと言えば無いがな
全てはお前次第

10代最後の日に あと一年頑張って何も変わらなかったら
もう人生ごと終わらせようと思ってた でもそれも出来なかった
きっと本当の死ぬ気の覚悟も知らず 生きてきた

明日こそ願いが叶う事を信じて 7日目を生き抜くんだね
なあ 僕達もそんな生き方していたいよな?
明日からでもなく 何かの記念日でもなく
どうしようもなく涙が出てしまった今日から変わって行けば良い

いつも甘えた家庭に包まれ
友達が100人いて 恋人が何十人いたって
満足出来ない人もいて 自らある種の地獄へ向かって行く
でも僕は違う 家族に憧れ抱いたままでも
まだ上手く友達も作れずに 恋愛に臆病なままでも
前を向いて生きている 幸せも感じている
全ては自分次第

もう 今日からは死ぬ以上の悲しみは ここに無いと思って生きて行くよ
ならもう何も怖くない 誰がどう言おうと構わない
諦める必要もない 強く生き抜くよ

悲しくなんてないよ 一番大事な事は 叶うとか叶わないじゃない
欲しかった物は 此処に無い未来や過去じゃなく
その気持ちを失った時に 僕が僕じゃ無くなってしまう...
そう思える そんな生き方を

嬉しくて泣いてる人も 悲しくても笑ってる人にも
スローライフでゆっくり歩いても 充実感に過ぎる時を忘れていても

いつかきっと 僕も君も居なくなってしまう
例外無く終わっていく そこにどんな意味があるかなんて分かるはず無い

7日目の夜も 夢を願う時だけは少し強くなれたんだね

7th Day's Determination ~November 9, 2013 A Dream Memo

You are a summer cicada dreaming of winter
If your wish came true tomorrow, would you have lived the 7th day?
Because it's impossible to forget sadness alone.

It's okay to forget everything now. Someday you'll remember only the important things.

God who created the world in 7 days,
And a pod of dolphins that beached themselves a week before the earthquake,
That girl crying every week at Tokyo Station on weekends, of those 7 days,
Which one was the longest?

To my grandfather who lost his left hand in the war,
If I asked if there was a sadness greater than death in this world,
He would say yes, but if I said no, he would say no.
It's all up to you.

On the last day of my teens, after working hard for another year, if nothing had changed,
I thought I would end my life, but I couldn't do that either.
Surely I had lived without ever knowing what it truly meant to be prepared to die.

You are a summer cicada dreaming of winter
Believing that your wish will come true tomorrow, you will live through the 7th day.
Hey, don't you think we should live like that too?
Not from tomorrow, not from some anniversary,
If you can't help but shed tears today, change your life from there.

Always wrapped in a sheltered family,
Even if you have 100 friends and dozens of lovers,
There are those for whom it is not enough, and go towards a certain kind of hell.
But I am different, even if I am still yearning for a family,
Even if I still can't make friends properly, and am timid about love.
I am facing forward, I am feeling happiness

The things I wanted are not the future or the past that is not here,
But when I lose sight of that feeling, I cease to be myself...
I can think that way, such a way of life

For those who cry with joy, and for those who laugh despite their sadness,
Even if we walk slowly in slow life, forgetting the time in our fulfillment,

Someday you and I will surely be gone.
Everything ends without exception, there's no way to know what meaning lies in that.
