In this sacred place where tumbling waterfalls bathe his matted locks,
Wearing a garland of massive serpents around his neck,
His mridanga drum beats with such thunder that it shakes the world,
Lord Shiva, the Blue-Throated God, performs his cosmic dance.
Rivers of Ganga flow through his tangled hair,
Crowning his head and dancing wildly upon it.
His forehead is the third eye, a fiery beacon,
Oh, my youthful love, Shiva, I am captivated by you.
Husband of the goddess Parvati, brother of Lord Ganesha,
Your compassionate gaze brings solace to all.
In your nakedness, you delight in play,
Your serpents' hoods sway and gleam.
Your body smeared with fragrant sandalwood paste,
Oh, my Lord of Ghosts, you fill me with wonder.

When will I find true happiness?
Whoever recites this supreme hymn daily,
With devotion and understanding,
Will attain devotion to their guru.
For there is no greater path to liberation
Than contemplating Lord Shiva.
