Surah Al-Lail

سورة الليل
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
﴿١﴾وَٱلْلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
﴿٢﴾وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
﴿٣﴾وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلأُنثَىٰ
﴿٤﴾إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
﴿٥﴾فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
﴿٦﴾وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
﴿٧﴾فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
﴿٨﴾وَأَمَّا مَن بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
﴿٩﴾وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
﴿١٠﴾فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
﴿١١﴾وَمَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰ
﴿١٢﴾إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
﴿١٣﴾وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلآخِرَةَ وَٱلأُولَىٰ
﴿١٤﴾فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَاراً تَلَظَّىٰ
﴿١٥﴾لاَ يَصْلاَهَآ إِلاَّ ٱلأَشْقَى
﴿١٦﴾ٱلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
﴿١٧﴾وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلأَتْقَى
﴿١٨﴾ٱلَّذِى يُؤْتِى مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
﴿١٩﴾وَمَا ِلأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ
﴿٢٠﴾إِلاَّ ٱبْتِغَآءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلأَعْلَىٰ
﴿٢١﴾وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ

Sura Al-Layl

Sura Al-Layl
In the name of GOD Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
1. By the night as it veils
2. And by the day as it shines,
3. And by Him Who created the male and the female.
4. Lo! your efforts are diverse.
5. Then for him who gives (in charity) and fears (GOD)
6. And believes in goodness,
7. We shall indeed make easy for him the path to ease.
8. But for him who is niggardly and deems himself to be independent of need
9. And disbelieves in goodness,
10. We shall indeed make easy for him the path to adversity,
11. And his wealth will avail him naught when he perishes.
12. Lo! ours is the guidance.
13. And ours is the hereafter and the former life.
14. And I verily warn you of a Fire that flames.
15. None shall reach it save the most wretched;
16. He who denies (the truth) and turns away.
17. But he who fears (GOD) will be kept far therefrom.
18. He who gives his wealth to purify himself,
19. And has no favor from any one for which he should make recompense.
20. But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, the Most High,
21. Verily, he shall be well-pleased.
