Salmo Nº58

Oh! congregación, pronuncias de verdad justicia?
Juzgáis rectamente, hijos de los hombres?
No! en el corazón urdís iniquidades.
En la tierra violencia
Dispensan vuestras manos.

Desde el seno se torcieron los impíos.
Erraron desde el vientre los que hablan mentiras.
Envenenados con veneno de serpiente,
Son como el áspid que tapa su oído
Para no oir la voz de los que le encantan,
Del mago experto en el encanto.

Oh! Dios, rompe sus dientes,
En sus bocas quiebra,
Oh!, Dios, las muelas del león.
Que se disipen como agua que corre,
Como hierba que se pisa sobre el camino.
Que se deshagan como el caracol deslíe,
Como el que muerto nace,
Y no contempla el sol.
Antes que vuestras ollas sientan la llama
De los espinos,
Asi vivos, así airados
El los arrebatará con tempestad.
Se alegrará el justo al verse vengado,
Sus pies bañará en la sangre del malvado.
Entonces se dirá: Hay premio para el justo,
Hay un Dios que juzga al mundo.

Salmo Nº58

Oh! congregation, do you really pronounce justice?
Do you judge rightly, children of men?
No! you plot iniquities in your heart.
On earth violence
They dispense your hands.

The wicked have been twisted from the womb.
Those who speak lies have erred from the womb.
Poisoned with snake venom,
They are like the asp that covers his ear
To not hear the voice of those he loves,
From the magician expert in charm.

Oh! God, break his teeth,
In their mouths they break,
Oh!, God, the lion's teeth.
Let them dissipate like running water,
Like grass that is trodden on the road.
Let them fall apart as the snail slides,
As the one who is born dead,
And he does not contemplate the sun.
Before your pots feel the flame
Of the thorns,
So alive, so angry
He will take them away with a storm.
The righteous will rejoice when he sees himself avenged,
He will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked one.
Then it will be said: There is a prize for the righteous,
There is a God who judges the world.
