And so the prince fell for the young lady,
And oh so he begged her for love.
But she was a tease and held him at bay,
And she said, "Some day, or maybe not."

When the flowers came back to the land once more,
The prince asked her once more for her love.
And she was the same, as she replied once more,
"Some day, or maybe not."

And still she waited for her prince,
But oh, he never did return.
For time goes quickly when you dwell,
And the gold turned grey in her hair.

And so they lived out their days alone,
Each one waiting in their castle.
And after that, what happened next?
Well, no one really knows.

You are that lady, my dear,
And so ends this tale.
It's eleven o'clock now,
And my porridge is getting cold.
