نه یاری تا کنم در زندگی عشقش بهانه

دل من خواهد از من تا همه دنیا بگردم
مگر پیدا کنم در عالم از عشقی نشانه

ز خاموشی شود افسرده جانم
گرفته سر به سوی آسمانم
که سوزان کن دلم از غم خدایا
دل بی غم نمیخواهم خدایا

زمانی سینه ام کاشانه عشق و صفا بود
چو روی یار من آیینه لطف خدا بود
کنون آیینه ام از کینه دنیا شکسته
که یارم در بر آیینه ای دیگر نشسته

ز خاموشی شود افسرده جانم
گرفته سر به سوی آسمانم
که سوزان کن دلم از غم خدایا
دل بی غم نمیخواهم خدایا

Deprived of Love

I have no beloved to make her love my life's purpose,
No love to compose a song from its burning passion.
My heart desires me to search the whole world,
Hoping to find a sign of such love somewhere.
