میزد غوطه ها میون دریا تنش

میکرد آن پری چو قو بدریا شنا
امواج نگه تو چهره اش اشنا
چشم دریا بست پیکرها
دیده اما چون ندیده
زان سیمین تن چشمان من
دامن دامن ستاره چیده
عروس ساحل میان دریا
چو پرتو من نشسته زیبا
دور از او بساحل من به اتش دل
مانده خیره چشمم برانهمه زیبا
همچو موج سر کش شعله های اتش
میکشد زبانه تو سینه ما
چشم دریا بست پیکرها
دیده اما چون ندیده
زان سیمین تن چشمان من

Sea Fairy

In the midst of the Caspian Sea, a girl like a fairy,
A beautiful figure, like a water lily.
She was diving, her body amidst the sea,
Waves, a hundred eyes, gazing upon her knee.
Fallen into the Caspian, from her body waves of light,
Her face like the moon, her breasts like crystal bright.
That fairy was swimming like a swan in the sea,
The waves gazing, your face familiar to me.
The sea closed its eyes to the figures around,
But my eyes have seen, as if spellbound.
From that silvery body, my eyes have gathered,
Handfuls, handfuls of stars, scattered.
Bride of the shore, amidst the sea,
Like my ray of light, you sit beautifully.
Far from you, on the shore, my heart ablaze,
My eyes remain fixed on all your grace.
Like a surging wave, the flames of fire,
Lick their tongues within my chest, higher and higher.
