Все смеются и воздушные шарики
Надувают веселые карлики,
И фейерверком петарды взрываются -
Цирк приехал, и все улыбаются...
В этом цирке все мы зрители,
Все мы звери и укротители,
И нам здесь все до боли знакомо,
В этом цирке мы словно дома...
Здесь все просто и очень загадочно,
И смеется клоун припадочно
Оттого, что упал гимнаст,
А ведь он хотел сделать сальто для нас!
Все мы здесь собрались не случайно,
И уже никакая не тайна,
Что в этом цирке все мы клоуны,
А у гимнаста ноги сломаны...
В этом цирке все мы выросли,
И одну лишь мысль мы вынесли,
Каждый думает об одном:
"Ну как в этом цирке не стать слоном?!"
Но зато все хотят стать магами,
И кричат, и машут флагами,
А ведь они - обычные зрители,
Станционные смотрители,
Акробаты и шпагоглотатели,
Эквилибристы и змей заклинатели,
Канатоходцы и силачи,
Лилипуты и трюкачи...
В этом цирке все относительно,
И мы смеемся не выразительно,
Потому что, все озабочены,
Чтобы не остаться у обочины..."

Circus

Everyone's laughing, balloons in the air,
Inflated by cheerful dwarfs with care,
Fireworks and firecrackers brightly explode -
The circus has arrived, smiles are bestowed...
In this circus, we're all spectators,
Both beasts and tamers, creators of factors,
Everything here feels so familiar,
Like a home, this circus is stellar...
It's simple yet strangely mysterious,
The clown laughs, a fit quite delirious,
Because the gymnast took a fall,
He wanted to do a somersault for us all!
We've all gathered here for a reason,
It's no secret, not even in this season,
That in this circus, we're all clowns,
And the gymnast's legs have broken down...
In this circus, we've all grown up,
And one thought we've learned to sup,
Everyone thinks the same, it's true:
"How can I not become an elephant, boo hoo?!"
But everyone yearns to be a mage,
They shout and wave flags on the stage,
Yet they're just ordinary viewers,
Station masters, not achievers,
Acrobats and sword swallowers bold,
Equilibrists and serpent controllers of old,
Tightrope walkers and men of might,
Lilliputians and stuntmen taking flight...
Everything's relative in this circus show,
Our laughter lacks expression, don't you know,
Because we're all consumed by one fear,
"To avoid being left behind, my dear..."
