Right on out and down the stream, ships as fur as my eye could see, woman a-waitin'.

Ship loaded down with TNT
All out across the rollin' sea;
Stood on the deck, watched the fishes swim,

Sharks, porpoises, jellybeans, rainbow trouts, mudcats, jugars, all over that water.

This convoy's the biggest I ever did see,

Walked to the tail, stood on the stern,

Au lit avec ma femme, je chantais juste le blues,

Tout droit et en aval du courant, des navires aussi loin que mon œil pouvait voir, ma femme attendait.

Requins, dauphins, bonbons gélifiés, truites arc-en-ciel, poissons-chats, jaguars, partout dans cette eau.

Ce convoi est le plus grand que j'aie jamais vu,
Il s'étend sur toute la mer ;
Et les navires sifflent et sonnent leurs cloches,
On va envoyer ces fascistes tous en enfer !
Gagner un peu de liberté, de liberté, ce genre de choses.
