למנצח על ידותון
For the director of music. For Jeduthun.
לַמְנַצֵּחַ
עַל
ידיתון;
For
the
director
of
music.
For
Jeduthun.
לְאָסָף
מִזְמוֹר.
A
psalm
of
Asaph.
קוֹלִי
אֶל
אֱלֹקים
וְאֶצְעָקָה;
My
voice
is
to
God,
and
I
will
cry;
קוֹלִי
אֶל
אלֹקים,
וְהַאֲזִין
אֵלָי.
My
voice
is
to
God,
and
he
will
give
ear
to
me.
בְּיוֹם
צָרָתִי,
In
the
day
of
my
trouble,
ה'
דָּרָשְׁתִּי:
I
sought
the
Lord:
יָדִי,
לַיְלָה
נִגְּרָה
וְלֹא
תָפוּג;
My
hand
was
stretched
out
in
the
night,
and
ceased
not;
מֵאֲנָה
הִנָּחֵם
נַפְשִׁי.
My
soul
refused
to
be
comforted.
אֶזְכְּרָה
אֱלֹקים
וְאֶהֱמָיָה;
I
remembered
God,
and
was
troubled;
אָשִׂיחָה,
וְתִתְעַטֵּף
רוּחִי
סֶלָה.
I
complained,
and
my
spirit
was
overwhelmed.
Selah.
אָחַזְתָּ,
שְׁמֻרוֹת
עֵינָי;
You
hold
the
eyelids
of
my
eyes:
נִפְעַמְתִּי,
וְלֹא
אֲדַבֵּר.
I
am
troubled,
that
I
cannot
speak.
חִשַּׁבְתִּי
יָמִים
מִקֶּדֶם
I
have
considered
the
days
of
old,
שְׁנוֹת,
עוֹלָמִים.
The
years
of
ancient
times.
אֶזְכְּרָה
נְגִינָתִי,
בַּלָּיְלָה:
I
remembered
my
song
in
the
night:
עִם
לְבָבִי
אָשִׂיחָה;
וַיְחַפֵּשׂ
רוּחִי.
I
communed
with
my
own
heart:
and
my
spirit
made
diligent
search.
הַלְעוֹלָמִים,
יִזְנַח
ה';
Will
the
Lord
cast
off
for
ever?
וְלֹא
יֹסִיף
לִרְצוֹת
עוֹד.
And
will
he
be
favourable
no
more?
הֶאָפֵס
לָנֶצַח
חַסְדּוֹ;
Is
his
mercy
clean
gone
for
ever?
גָּמַר
אֹמֶר,
לְדֹר
וָדֹר.
Doth
his
promise
fail
for
evermore?
הֲשָׁכַח
חַנּוֹת
אֵ'ל;
Hath
God
forgotten
to
be
gracious?
אִם
קָפַץ
בְּאַף,
רַחֲמָיו
סֶלָה.
Hath
he
in
anger
shut
up
his
tender
mercies?
Selah.
וָאֹמַר,
חַלּוֹתִי
הִיא
And
I
said,
This
is
my
infirmity:
שְׁנוֹת,
יְמִין
עֶלְיוֹן.
The
years
of
the
right
hand
of
the
most
High.
אֶזְכּוֹר
מַעַלְלֵי
קהּ:
I
will
remember
the
works
of
the
Lord:
כִּי
אֶזְכְּרָה
מִקֶּדֶם
פִּלְאֶךָ.
Surely
I
will
remember
thy
wonders
of
old.
וְהָגִיתִי
בְכָל
פָּעֳלֶךָ;
I
will
meditate
also
of
all
thy
work,
וּבַעֲלִילוֹתֶיךָ
אָשִׂיחָה.
And
talk
of
thy
doings.
אֱלֹקים,
בַּקֹּדֶשׁ
דַּרְכֶּךָ;
Your
way,
O
God,
is
in
the
sanctuary:
מִי
אל
גָּדוֹל,
כֵּאלֹקים.
Who
is
so
great
a
God
as
our
God?
אַתָּה
הָא'ל,
עֹשֵׂה
פֶלֶא;
You
are
the
God
that
doest
wonders:
הוֹדַעְתָּ
בָעַמִּים
עֻזֶּךָ.
You
hast
declared
thy
strength
among
the
people.
גָּאַלְתָּ
בִּזְרוֹעַ
עַמֶּךָ;
בְּנֵי
יַעֲקֹב
וְיוֹסֵף
סֶלָה.
You
hast
with
your
arm
redeemed
your
people,
the
sons
of
Jacob
and
Joseph.
Selah.
רָאוּךָ
מַּיִם,אֱלֹקים
The
waters
saw
you,
O
God,
רָאוּךָ
מַּיִם
יָחִילוּ;
אַף,
יִרְגְּזוּ
תְהֹמוֹת.
The
waters
saw
you,
they
were
afraid:
the
depths
also
were
troubled.
זֹרְמוּ
מַיִם,
עָבוֹת
The
clouds
poured
out
water:
קוֹל,
נָתְנוּ
שְׁחָקִים;
The
skies
sent
out
a
sound:
אַף
חֲצָצֶיךָ,
יִתְהַלָּכוּ.
Your
arrows
also
went
abroad.
קוֹל
רַעַמְךָ,
בַּגַּלְגַּל
The
voice
of
your
thunder
was
in
the
heaven:
הֵאִירוּ
בְרָקִים
תֵּבֵל;
The
lightnings
lightened
the
world:
רָגְזָה
וַתִּרְעַשׁ
הָאָרֶץ.
The
earth
trembled
and
shook.
בַּיָּם
דַּרְכֶּךָ
Your
way
is
in
the
sea,
וּשְׁבִילְךָ,
בְּמַיִם
רַבִּים;
And
your
path
in
the
great
waters,
וְעִקְּבוֹתֶיךָ,
לֹא
נֹדָעוּ.
And
your
footsteps
are
not
known.
נָחִיתָ
כַצֹּאן
עַמֶּךָ
You
led
your
people
like
a
flock,
בְּיַד
מֹשֶׁה
וְאַהֲרֹן.
By
the
hand
of
Moses
and
Aaron.
