麵店旁的小水溝 留著我們長大的夢
繞過天真 跳至收割期
人們的汗水夾雜著滿足與歡喜
是我現在最捨不得的畫面 也是我另一項參展作品

靠著回憶 畫成油畫 拿到獎狀 有個啥用
鼓勵你多去回憶是吧 哼我真想撕掉
換回自然 怎麼梯田不見
多了幾家飯店 住在裡面看西洋片

幾隻水牛 卻變成畫 掛在牆壁上
象徵人們 蒸蒸日上
一堆遊客 偶爾想看看窗外的觀光景點
但只看到 比你住的再高一層的飯店

因地制宜綜合利用 利用對還是不對

可憐可悲 森林綠地都已成紀錄片

聞不到綠意盎然 只享受到烏煙瘴氣

Terraced Fields

Wen Shan, by the time you finish writing the lyrics, I'll have released my next album.
It's okay. Take your time. I'll write this song myself.
Talking about the terraced fields in my hometown when I was in high school,
they were the most beautiful greenery I had ever seen.

As a result, I won the Best Photography award.
Me, cluelessly in the picture, not knowing how to write lyrics, sounding like a poet.
Sitting on the bus to school, I would watch the cows graze outside the window,
a feeling of indescribable freedom and ease.

Hoi Ya E Ya Na Lu Wan,
Na E Na Ya Hei, oh my dear cow,
Hoi Ya E Ya Na Lu Wan,
Na E Na Ya Hei, oh where have you gone?

The small water ditch by the noodle shop holds our growing dreams,
skipping past innocence and into harvest season.
People's sweat mixed with satisfaction and joy,
the scene I miss the most, and my other entry for the exhibition.

Painting it from memory, winning awards, what's the point?
Encouraging you to reminisce more, huh? I'd tear it up.
Recreating nature, how come the terraced fields are gone?
There are a few more hotels, watching Western movies while staying in them.

A few water buffaloes, turned into paintings, hanging on the wall,
symbolizing people's progress.
A crowd of tourists, occasionally wanting to see the scenic spots outside the window,
but only seeing hotels that are taller than yours.

Hoi Ya E Ya Na Lu Wan,
Na E Na Ya Hei, oh where have you gone?

Utilizing different sites for different purposes, is it right or wrong?
Selfish humans, are we shameless, destroying nature's ecology?
Will it be tiring, you say, for the sake of art,
to cut down a tree? Is it right or wrong?

You say, for decoration, what does it have to do with me?
Can we only use cameras to record nature?
Those photos, for the next generation, for the next generation to reminisce.
Pitiful and sad, forests and greenery have all become documentaries.

Can't smell the lush greenery, only enjoying the smog.
I can't teach you, I'm not your teacher.
I'm not the principal, and I can't give you a slap... slap...
Long... long... long speech.

You don't want to listen, I know, but I can't help it.
I have to write, you may never understand.
Under the microscope, we will be more realistic, more selfish.
This art is really difficult to grasp.
