巨獸般 爬上 大峽谷
浮誇的盛世 即將結局 沒機會哭
從萬柱煙囪裡 瀰漫上天空去
從萬里陰溝裡 流落到海邊去
你愛製造死氣 排出污水
從垃圾崗一角 蠶食到花園裡
沿鬧市的開發 連累到郊區去
叢林 被剷光 誰賠罪
讓 狂草的憤怒 敲響了 這段喪鐘
假使你 不找個 折衷
若 倫敦紐約 跟東京
都變 荒墓野塚
即管試 狂草將會失控
沿地鐵車軌去 繁殖到屋村裡
沿著那水管去 爬越到天台去
這個 報復很快 無堅不摧
由住宅區出發 朝著市中心去
人類建的一切 生吞草堆裡
我要 沿路 每座城 沉睡去

A sinister expanse of green
Like a colossal beast, scaling the Grand Canyon
An extravagant golden age about to end, no time to weep
From ten thousand smoking chimneys, it billows into the sky
From ten thousand cesspools, it trickles to the ocean
You relish making deadly fumes, spewing sewage
From the garbage dumps, it encroaches on gardens
Along the bustling city outskirts, it spreads
The jungle, decimated, who pays the price?
Let the wrath of Rambling Grass toll this dirge
If you don't find a compromise
If London, New York, and Tokyo
Become barren wastelands
Do try, Rambling Grass will run rampant
Along the subway tracks, it multiplies into housing complexes
Through the water pipes, it climbs to the rooftops
This retribution is swift, unstoppable
From the residential neighborhoods, it makes for the city center
Everything humans built, devoured by weeds
I will lull every town, along the path
Who brought this upon themselves?
I urged and warned, but
To no avail
Strange how humans plant landmines
And rejoice in the explosions, these feats of courage
Let the wrath of Rambling Grass toll this dirge
If you still refuse to compromise
Let Taipei, Seoul,
Let Hong Kong be smothered in greenery
Leave Rambling Grass to me, I control it
If you don't relent, tomorrow will be more radical
