Al Qiyamah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

لا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
وَلا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ
أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
بَلْ يُرِيدُ الإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ
يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ
وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ
وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ
يَقُولُ الإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ
كَلاَّ لا وَزَرَ
إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ
يُنَبَّأُ الإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
بَلِ الإِنسَانُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ
وَلَوْ أَلْقَى مَعَاذِيرَهُ
لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ
كَلاَّ بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ
وَتَذَرُونَ الآخِرَةَ
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌ
إِلَى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ
وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَاسِرَةٌ
تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ
كَلاَّ إِذَا بَلَغَتْ التَّرَاقِيَ
وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ
وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ
إِلَى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ
فَلا صَدَّقَ وَلا صَلَّى
وَلَكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّى
أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى
ثُمَّ أَوْلَى لَكَ فَأَوْلَى
أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى
أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِيٍّ يُمْنَى
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّى
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنثَى
أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى

Resurrection

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

I do not swear by the Day of Resurrection,
Nor do I swear by the self-reproaching soul,
Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers.
But man desires to do evil in front of him.
He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
So when the sight is dazed,
And the moon is eclipsed,
And the sun and moon are joined together,
On that Day man will say, "Where is the place of escape?"
No! There is no refuge!
To your Lord is the destination on that Day.
On that Day man will be informed of what he did and what he failed to do.
Nay! Man is a witness against himself,
Even if he makes excuses.
Do not move your tongue concerning the Qur'an to hasten with its recitation.
Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation.
So when We have recited it, then follow its recitation.
Then upon Us is its explanation.
Nay, but you love the immediate,
And you neglect the Hereafter.
Some faces, that Day, will be radiant,
Looking at their Lord,
And some faces, that Day, will be overcast,
Thinking that an overwhelming disaster is about to befall them.
No! When it reaches the collarbone,
And it will be said, "Who can heal?"
And he will become certain that it is the separation,
And the leg shall be wound around the leg.
To your Lord, that Day, is the destination.
So he neither believed nor prayed,
But he denied and turned away.
Then he went to his family, strutting.
Woe to you, and ruin!
Then woe to you, and ruin!
Does man think that he will be left neglected?
Was he not a drop of sperm emitted?
Then he became a clinging clot, and He created [him] and proportioned him.
And He made of him two mates, the male and the female.
Is He not Able to give life to the dead?
