Μακριά η ζωή μου κι άγρια ψάχνει τις νύχτες με μάτια κλειστά
γυμνός κι αλήτης, μοναχός, δε βρίσκω δρόμους γυρνάω σαν τρελός
Περνάω τα στέκια που έζησα, πόρτες κλειστές κι ας
μη με νοιάζει γι′ αυτές
μοιάζ' η ζωή μου φυλακή κι ότι έχω κάνει μου βγαίνει καρφί.

Λάσπες στο δρόμο, λάσπες και βροχή
δεν ξέρω γιατί τρέχω.
Eιν′ η ανάσα μου βαριά,
σε θέλω δεν αντέχω.

Γυμνός στα πόδια σου ακουμπώ νιώθω στο αίμα μου πυρετό,
βρίζω και σβήνω τις στιγμές όνειρο κι εφιάλτης σαν χθές.
Kρατάω ψυχή που σιγοκαίει μικρό παιδί μες στα χέρια μου κλαίει,
χρώμα στο ψέμα δηλαδή κι αλήθεια ψέμα για κάθε στιγμή.

I pass by the places where I lived, closed doors and I don't
care about them any more
my life is like a prison and everything I've done is a nail in my coffin.

My breath is heavy,

Naked, I kneel at your feet and I feel a fever in my blood,
I curse and erase the moments, a dream, and a nightmare like yesterday.
