Πετούν γεράκια απ' τις φωλιές
την τρομαγμένη μας ζωή να δουν εικόνα
σαν τις παλιές αμαρτωλές
που δεν τους στάθηκε αγκαλιά ούτε κρυψώνα
Κάτω απ' την άρρωστη βροχή
στις εθνıκές των φορτηγών με τα ψυγεία
το μαύρο λάδι απ' την ψυχή
δεν καίει για κάτι που να μοιάζει μ' ευλογία
Δι' ευχών των αγίων ημών
στους ναούς των μεγάλων λυγμών
Δι' ευχών των αγίων της γης
ορατής και αοράτου πληγής
Δι' ευχών των αγίων που κλαις
που μπορείς σ' αγαπάω να λες
Δι' ευχών των αγίων κι αεί
με Θεού πνοή
Κοιτάω τον ήλιο απ' το βουνό
κι οι δυναμίτες της ψυχής μου σπαν την πέτρα
που εγώ να τρέξω ξεκινώ
μεσ' στης παγκόσμιας λογικής τα πέντε μέτρα
Με χαραγμένα τ' αρχικά
