Село солнце за Гималаи,
Чтоб назавтра вновь взойти;
Бредет йогин на кладбище
Отсекать привязанности.
У него труба из кости,
Он начнет в нее трубить;
Созовет голодных духов -
Их собой поить-кормить.
Они съедят его тело,
Они выпьют кровь до дна;
И к утру он чист-безгрешен,
Не привязан ни хрена.
Ох, мы тоже трубим в трубы,
У нас много трубачей;
И своею кровью кормим
Сытых хамов-сволочей;
Столько лет - а им все мало.
Неужель мы так грешны?
Ох, скорей бы солнце встало
Над кладбищем моей родины.

Cemetery

The sun has set behind the Himalayas,
To rise again tomorrow;
A yogi wanders the cemetery
To sever attachments.
He has a bone trumpet,
He will begin to blow it;
He will summon hungry spirits -
To feed and nourish them with himself.
They will devour his body,
They will drink his blood to the last drop;
And by morning he is pure and sinless,
Not attached to a damn thing.
Oh, we too blow trumpets,
We have many trumpeters;
And with our own blood we feed
Satiated boors and scoundrels;
So many years - and they still want more.
Are we really that sinful?
Oh, if only the sun would rise
Over the cemetery of my homeland.
