Смотри, как просто в нем найти покой.
И если верить в то, что завтра будет новый день,
Тогда совсем легко.
Ах, только б не кончалась эта ночь;
Мне кажется, мой дом уже не дом.
Смотри, как им светло - они играют в жизнь свою
На стенке за стеклом.
Мне кажется, я узнаю себя
В том мальчике, читающем стихи;
Он стрелки сжал рукой, чтоб не кончалась эта ночь,
И кровь течет с руки.
Но кажется, что это лишь игра
С той стороны зеркального стекла;
А здесь рассвет, но мы не потеряли ничего:
Сегодня тот же день, что был вчера.

From the Other Side of the Looking Glass

The last rain – almost not a rain at all;
Look how easy it is to find peace within it.
And if we believe that tomorrow will be a new day,
Then everything is simple.
Ah, if only this night wouldn't end;
It seems my home is no longer home.
Look how bright they are – they play their lives
On the wall behind the glass.
It seems I recognize myself
In that boy reading poetry;
He squeezed the hands of the clock to make this night last,
And blood flows from his hand.
But it seems this is just a game
From the other side of the looking glass;
And here is the dawn, but we haven't lost anything:
Today is the same day as yesterday.
