Любовь и крыша

Забываю Чехова
Езжу не по правилам
В кухню с "беломориной" за ночь раз по пять
Крыша-то уехала
Адрес не оставила
И теперь не знаю я, где её искать
Подворотни по лбу бить
Будут меня, грешного
Ночью "необобранный" бегаю, кричу:
"Помогите, голуби
Граждане сердечные
Если крышу встретите - я её ищу!"
А как же я её любил
От черепицы до стропил
От струйки дыма из трубы до сеновала!
Я с ней ложился и вставал
Как люди жил и умирал
Но крыша съехала. Всего ей было мало!
Во дворе на лавочке
Сяду с горемыкою
Расскажу товарищу про свою беду
И про то, что давеча
Воробей чирикал мне
Вроде, видел крышу он в городском саду
А как же я её любил
По воскресеньям с мылом мыл
Следил, чтоб летом ей не докучали осы
Всегда хватало ей тепла
Она ни разу не текла
Но вот взяла да и свалила без вопросов
Двери заколочены
И замки навешены
Чистотел бы кто-нибудь к сердцу приложил
Закатился в Сочи бы
Всех послал бы к лешему
И на белом катере с крышею уплыл!
А как же я её любил

I forget Chekhov
I don't follow the rules
Five times a night I go to the kitchen with a "belomorin"
The roof has gone
It left no address
And now I don't know where to look for it
The alleys will hit me on the forehead
Unworthy sinner that I am
At night I run around "unrobbed", shouting:
"Help me, my doves
Kind citizens
If you meet the roof - I'm looking for it!"
How could I love it
From its tiles to its rafters
From the smoke rising from its chimney to its hayloft!
I went to bed with it and got up with it
I lived and died as people do
But the roof has gone. It wasn't enough for it!
In the yard on the bench
I'll sit with the poor fellow
I'll tell my comrade about my misfortune
And about how just now
A sparrow chirped to me
He seemed to have seen the roof in the city park
How could I love it
On Sundays I washed it with soap
I made sure that in the summer wasps wouldn't bother it
It always had enough warmth
It never leaked once
But it took and left without a word
The doors are boarded up
And the locks are padlocked
If only someone would put celandine to my heart
I'd go to Sochi
I'd send everyone to hell
And sail away on a white boat with the roof!
