Ремонт

Мы ремонт затеяли с супругой.
Обзвонили несколько контор.
По цене сошлись с большой натугой.
Фирму представлял прораб Егор.
Он культурно с нами объяснялся.
Обещал красивый новый дом.
Расписал табличку и поклялся.
Что ремонт понравится потом.
По рукам ударив, заплатили.
Нужный день с супругой стали ждать.
Материалы для работ купили.
Будущее стали представлять.
В дверь квартиры робко позвонили.
Мы открыли и вошли втроем.
Два таджика и киргиз пошире.
Вещи вслед несли в дверной проем.
Нас зовут Иван, Олег и Гриша.
Будем вам квартиру улучшать.
Есть еще у нас сантехник Миша.
Будет завтра, сегодня он мешать.
Мы звоним прорабу: как же вышло.
Где же ваш профессионализм?
Но прораб осек нас типа тише.
Результатом будет неоклассицизм.
Мы решили в первый день проверить.
Глянуть, как же движется процесс.
Дома пар столбом, открыты двери.
Ротбанда мешков не тронут пресс.
Все работники выкупались в душе,
Причесались, вымыли всю грязь.
Говорят, работалось чтоб лучше,
И киргиз такой мне не волнуйся, Вась.
Чтобы не травмировать свой разум,
Мы решили впредь не приезжать.

Все дела по факту принимать.
Но работники себя забыть не дали,
Им цемента стало не хватать.
Инструменты вдруг и них попропадали,
Нам пришлось все это докупать.
На десятый день у них работа встала,
Снова не хватало им правил.
Их компашка дружно забухала,
Объяснял мне слесарь Михаил.
В общем через день я закупался
Всякими вещами в Леруа.
Но процесс никак не продвигался,
Нам казалось это навсегда.
Нам казалось, все бабло впустую,
Что ремонт закончить не дано.
не решить задачу непростую,
Ведь в квартире все еще говно.
Месяц миновал и три недели,
Стали мне таджики плитку класть.
Не хватило плитки- мы аж сели,
Говорят, что поломалась часть.
Плитка с заграницы, дорогая,
Долго добиралась к нам в края
Чтобы два таджика не моргая
Вмиг пообломали ей края.
Предложил прораб из Подмосковья
Быстренько её дозаказать.
Скидку сделать обещал достойно,
Ведь из-за границы дольше ждать.
В общем с грустью мы дозаказали
Плитку, клей, какой-то шуманит.
И ушли, чтобы глаза не знали,
Что с работой, где она стоит.
С чувством грусти и душевной боли
Докупали мы им мастерки.
Думали, они едят их что-ли,
Между слов вставляя матерки.
Проводя в дом новую проводку,
Нам киргиз Олег пробил стояк.
Говорил стояк давал наводку
И вообще, стояк стоял не так.
Разошлись обои дорогие,
Через день как высохли они.
Предложил Иван купить другие,
Снова их поклеить чтоб смогли.
Но, узнав их цену усомнился,
Предложил их просто оборвать.
Покраснел, в итоге и решился
Стоимость работы возмещать.
Стены предложил покрасить краской,
И бесплатно положить полы.
И добавил скромно так, с опаской
Раз теперь мы денег вам должны.
После все исчезли на неделю,
И не брали трубку, словно ЖЭК.
Позже объяснялись, что слетели
На другом объекте восемь человек.
Снова началась у них работа,
Время не щадило нас с женой.
Снова покупали мы чего-то,
И прораб был словно сам не свой.
А мы уже не верили прорабу,
Мы вас ненавидели трудяг.
В помощь им теперь прислали бабу,
Чтоб она покрасила ништяк.
Баба осудила их работу,
Указала на кривой проем.
Уркнул Миша, высмеяв заботу:
Дом же старый, мы тут не причем.
Из-под пола чем-то завоняло,
Запах поселился и стоит.
Все пройдет- нам тетка обещала,
Под бетоном в клее шуманит.
Позже, через месяц всей работы
Им пришлось менять мне все полы.
Очень уж воняло там чего-то,
А чего, понять мы не смогли.
Год прошел, ремонт наш не закончен,
Мы остановили беспредел.
Я смотрю вокруг так, между прочим,
Разве этого я так хотел?
Мужики, что кухню замеряли,
Нам сказали стены здесь гавно.
Все кривое, дружно причетали.
Зря вы заплатили им бабло.
К двум розеткам в комнате и в кухне
Не подвел никто проводки шнур.
Короб в коридоре скоро рухнет,
В ванной в плитке замурован бур.
Стены нам ровняли, но в итоге
Все вокруг кривое, хоть ты вой.
Теплый пол не греет на пороге,
В кухне даже потолок кривой.
Краской перепачкан плинтус в спальне.
В ванной в плитке не затерты швы.
А прораб такой был идеальный.
Вежливый и говорил на вы.
Где-то в папке из союз-печати
Мы ханим наш договор работ.
Там все круто, подписи, печати.
И гарантия на восемь лет вперед.
Если мол чего, вы позвоните.
Все исправит исполнитель вам.
Если форс-мажор, то извините.

Я звонил, но, если честно, страшно.
Мало ли, чем кончится бедлам.
Качество работ конечно важно.
Трубку не берут- я дальше сам.

Renovation

My wife and I decided on a renovation,
Called several companies around.
With great effort, we agreed on a price,
The firm was represented by foreman Egor.
He explained everything politely,
Promised a beautiful new home.
Drew up a schedule and swore,
That we'd love the renovation outcome.
We shook hands and paid,
My wife and I eagerly awaited the day.
We bought materials for the work,
And started picturing the future's sway.
A timid knock came at the door,
We opened it and three men came in.
Two Tajik guys and a wider Kyrgyz,
Carrying our belongings through the door's din.
"We are Ivan, Oleg, and Grisha," they said,
"We'll be improving your apartment, my dear."
"We also have a plumber, Misha," they said,
"He'll come tomorrow, he's busy, I fear."
We called the foreman: "How did this happen?"
"Where's your professionalism, we implore?"
But the foreman hushed us, "Keep it down, ma'am,"
"The result will be neoclassic, that's for sure."
We decided to check on the first day,
To see how the process was going, you see.
Steam filled the house, doors wide open lay,
Bags of plaster untouched, sadly.
All the workers had showered,
Combed their hair, washed away the grime.
"We work better clean," they said with a smile,
"Don't worry, Vasya, everything's on time."
To protect our sanity's core,
We decided not to visit anymore.
So that in the end, all at once,
We could accept the work, nothing more.
But the workers wouldn't let us forget,
They ran out of cement, they said with a frown.
Their tools suddenly went missing, I bet,
We had to buy it all, driving around town.
On the tenth day, their work came to a halt,
Again, they lacked the right tools, it seems.
Their whole crew went on a drinking spree,
Plumber Mikhail explained, lost in his dreams.
So every other day, I'd go shopping,
For all sorts of things at Leroy Merlin.
But the process wouldn't budge, just stopping,
It felt like it would never end, my friend.
It felt like all the money was wasted,
That the renovation was never meant to be.
This difficult task couldn't be aced,
The apartment was still a mess, you see.
A month and three weeks went by,
The Tajik guys started laying the tiles.
We were shocked when they ran out, my wife and I,
They said some of the tiles broke in piles.
The tiles were expensive, from abroad,
It took a long time to get them here.
And these two Tajiks, without a nod,
Broke their edges, it was quite clear.
The foreman suggested, from the Moscow lands,
To quickly order more, it's the way.
He promised a decent discount, understand,
Since waiting for them from abroad would cause delay.
So with sadness, we ordered more,
Tiles, glue, some Shumanit, what a chore.
And left, so our eyes wouldn't see,
The state of the work, and where it would be.
With a feeling of sadness and heartache,
We bought them more trowels, what a plight.
We wondered if they ate them, for goodness sake,
Cursing under our breath, day and night.
While installing new wiring in the house,
Kyrgyz Oleg punctured a pipe, what a mess.
He said the pipe was giving him a rouse,
And that it was installed wrong, I guess.
The expensive wallpaper split apart,
A day after they had dried, what a shame.
Ivan suggested buying a new start,
So they could glue them again, playing the game.
But upon learning their price, he hesitated,
Suggested just tearing them down, it's true.
He blushed and finally decided, elated,
To compensate for the work, anew.
He offered to paint the walls instead,
And lay the floors for free, a kind deed.
And added modestly, with a bit of dread,
"Since now we owe you money, indeed."
After that, they all vanished for a week,
Ignoring our calls, just like the housing office, alas.
Later, they explained they had to seek,
Work on another site, a sudden pass.
Their work started again, it's true,
Time wasn't kind to my wife and me.
Again, we were buying something new,
And the foreman seemed lost, you see.
We no longer trusted the foreman's word,
We hated you, hard workers, it's a fact.
They sent an old lady to help, we heard,
To paint everything perfectly, without a crack.
The lady condemned their work with a sigh,
Pointing out the crooked doorway, it's true.
Misha grumbled, mocking her with a cry,
"The house is old, what can we do?"
A stench arose from under the floor,
The smell settled and lingered, day by day.
"It'll pass," the lady assured us, and swore,
"It's the Shumanit in the glue, come what may."
Later, after a month of this plight,
They had to replace all the floors, you see.
Something stank terribly, day and night,
But what it was, we couldn't agree.
A year passed, the renovation wasn't done,
We stopped the chaos, it had to end.
I looked around, just for fun,
Is this what I wanted, my friend?
The guys who measured the kitchen space,
Told us the walls were crap, it's true.
Everything's crooked, they said with a grimace,
"You shouldn't have paid them, it's through."
To the two outlets in the room and the kitchen,
No one connected the wiring cord, I swear.
The box in the hallway will soon come crashing,
A drill bit is embedded in the bathroom tile, I declare.
They leveled the walls, but in the end,

And a guarantee for eight years, I swear.

The contractor will fix it all for you.
