Козёл отпущения

В заповеднике, вот в каком — забыл
Жил да был Козёл, роги длинные
Хоть с волками жил, не по-волчьи выл
Блеял песенки всё козлиные

И пощипывал он травку, и нагуливал бока
Не услышишь от него худого слова!
Толку было с него, правда, как с козла молока
Но вреда, однако, тоже никакого!

Он жил на выпасе, возле озерка
Не вторгаясь в чужие владения
Но заметили скромного Козлика
И избрали в козлы отпущения!

Например, Медведь — баламут и плут
Обхамит кого-нибудь по-медвежьему
Так враз Козла найдут, приведут и бьют
По рогам ему и промеж ему

Не противился он, серенький, насилию со злом
А сносил побои весело и гордо!
Сам Медведь сказал: "Ребяты, я горжусь Козлом!"
Героическая личность, козья морда!"

Берегли Козла, прям как наследника
Вышло даже в лесу запрещение
С территории заповедника
Отпускать Козла отпущения

А Козёл себе всё скакал козлом
Но пошаливать он стал втихимолочку
Он как-то бороду завязал узлом
И из кустов назвал Волка сволочью

А когда очередное отпущенье получал
Всё за то, что волки лишку откусили
Он, как будто бы случайно, по-медвежьи зарычал
Но внимания тогда не обратили

Пока хищники меж собой дрались
В заповеднике крепло мнение
Что дороже всех медведей и лис
Дорогой Козёл отпущения!

Услыхал Козёл, да и стал таков
"Эй, вы, бурые, — кричит, — светло-пегие!
Отниму у вас рацион волков
И медвежии привилегии!

Покажу вам "козью морду" настоящую в лесу
Распишу туда-сюда по трафарету!
Всех на роги намотаю и по кочкам разнесу
И ославлю по всему по белу свету!

Не один из вас будет землю жрать!
Все подохнити без прощения!
Отпускать грехи кому — уж это мне решать!
Это я — Козёл отпущения!"

В заповеднике, вот в каком — забыл
Правит бал Козёл не по-прежнему
Он с волками жил, и по-волчьи взвыл
И рычит теперь по-медвежьему

Scapegoat

In the reserve, I forgot in which one
There lived a Goat, with long horns
Though he lived with the wolves, he didn't howl like a wolf
He bleated songs, all like a goat

And he plucked the grass, and fattened his sides
You won't hear a bad word from him!
There was as much sense from him, as from a goat's milk
But no harm, either!

He lived in the pasture, near the lake
Not encroaching on other people's possessions
But they noticed the modest Goat
And chose him as the scapegoat!

For example, the Bear is a mischievous and cunning one
He'll be rude to someone, like a bear
So at once they find the Goat, bring him and beat him
On his horns and between him

He didn't resist, the gray one, the violence with evil
And he endured the beatings cheerfully and proudly!
The Bear himself said: "Guys, I'm proud of the Goat!
A heroic personality, a goat face!"

They took care of the Goat, just like an heir
There was even a ban in the forest
From the territory of the reserve
To release the Scapegoat

And the Goat himself galloped around like a goat
But he began to misbehave on the sly
He somehow tied his beard in a knot
And called the Wolf a bastard from the bushes

And when he received another remission
All for the fact that the wolves had bitten off too much
He, as if by accident, growled like a bear
But they didn't pay attention then

While the predators were fighting among themselves
The opinion grew stronger in the reserve
That the Goat is dearer than all the bears and foxes
Dear Scapegoat!

The Goat heard it and was like that
"Hey, you, brown ones," he shouts, "light-gray ones!
I'll take away your wolves' ration
And bear privileges!

I'll show you a real "goat face" in the forest
I'll paint it here and there on the stencil!
I'll wind you all on my horns and carry you through the bumps
And I'll glorify you all over the white world!

Not one of you will eat the earth!
You will all die without forgiveness!
It's up to me to forgive sins!
I am the Scapegoat!"

In the reserve, I forgot in which one
The Goat rules the ball not like before
He lived with the wolves, and howled like a wolf
And now he growls like a bear
