Тоненькая жилка бьётся у виска,
Где светлеет Шилка, там себя искал.
В травах беззаботно пел до сентября,
Праздновал свободно
Снежный перепляс.

В панцирь накрепко закован
Говор-гомон,
Знать, округу без укола
Холит холод.

Где шалили вихри, выщерблен оскал,
Струи с пеной свыклись – катиться Силькарь.
Золота крупинки, волны серебра
Мчатся без запинки дань веков собрать.

Сызмальства, с рождения
Выучен урок:
Пусть сгустятся тени
Вдоль и поперёк.

Где под рёбрами сквозило
Шили шилом.
Брали тусклые денёчки в оборот.
Думу грели безотрадно,
Складно-ладно.
Парня ждал замысловатый переплёт.
Не всегда в пути тверёзый
Всё же ожил,
Растревожили орланы
Брани раны.

Видится с утеса полдень налитой,
Лет десяток стёсан – снова молодой.
Сердце бьётся ровно, всё, как есть, принять,
Голос в меру сорван – радуйся, родня!

A thin vein pulses at my temple,
Where the Shilka shines, there I sought myself.
Carefree in the grass, I sang until September,
Celebrating freely
The snowy dance.

Clad tightly in my armor,
The talk and murmur,
Seems the cold embraces the land without a prick,
Nurtures the cold.

Where whirlwinds played, a jagged grin remains,
Streams with foam have grown accustomed - Silkar flows.
Specks of gold, waves of silver
Rush without hesitation, collecting the tribute of ages.

From childhood, from birth,
The lesson is learned:
Let the shadows thicken
Lengthwise and crosswise.

Where it pierced beneath my ribs,
They stitched with an awl.
Dull days were taken into circulation.
Thoughts warmed without solace,
Harmoniously, neatly.
An intricate twist awaited the lad.
Not always sober on the path,
Yet he came alive,
The eagles disturbed
The wounds of battle.

From the cliff, the afternoon appears full,
A decade shaved off - young once more.
The heart beats steadily, accepting all as it is,
The voice is hoarse in moderation - rejoice, kin!
