Лютый заговор свершился
В стенах здания суда,
Городок лишился своего шута.
На устах одно у всех -
То, что шут похитил смех.
Время идёт, только правда все также слепа,
Снова найдет для распятия жертву толпа.
С чем теперь они остались?
Страх и больше ничего!
В ложь поверив, отказались
От героя своего.
Кто бросал в шута камнями,
Нынче сам тому не рад:
Презрительный ночами
Им сниться его взгляд.
Рассмеявшись над толпой,
Он смех забрал во тьму с собой.
Время идёт, только правда все также слепа,
Снова найдет для распятия жертву толпа.
Героев бичуют - и на костях танцуют.

The Jester's Execution

The blood has long been washed away by the rains,
The old scaffold has crumbled.
But everything that happened is still remembered
By the people of this town:
A cruel conspiracy was carried out
Within the walls of the courthouse,
The town lost its jester.
Everyone's talking about one thing -
That the jester stole the laughter.
Time goes on, but the truth remains blind,
The crowd will find another victim to crucify.

Believing the lie, they abandoned
Their own hero.
Those who threw stones at the jester,

In their dreams at night.
