Стучал копытом конь проворный Ярофея
И злобный конь Морглена показал оскал
Ярофей за меч схватился
С криком поднял над собой
Славный конь его пустился
На врага стрелой прямой
И зловещий конь Морглена
Им навстречу поскакал
Схватка началась мгновенно
Звон раздался среди скал
Но Ярофей всё чаще отступал, чаще отступал
Злой конь Морглена, обнажив оскал, с рёвом нападал
Ну что за напасть такая!
Удивлялся Ярофей
Как силён! И конь его
Безумный и агрессивный зверь
Он пытается копытом
Расколоть и выбить щит
И за руку он зубами
Ухватиться норовит
Кровь забрызгала из раны
Прозвучал предсмертный крик
Ярофей упал на землю
Славный конь его поник
И Морглен гремящим басом
Рассмеялся и сказал:
"Зря со мною ты связался
И тебе конец настал!"
И помчался конь ужасный
Открывая свою пасть
Чтобы раненого воина
Уничтожить, растерзать
Но в последнее мгновенье
В сторону прыгнул Ярофей
И за ним открылась пропасть
И в неё сорвался зверь
И вместе с бешеным конём Морглен летел всё глубже вниз
И там они кровавой лужей по дну пещеры растеклись

Morglen's Horse

The sunset, bloody red, embraced half the sky
Two warriors - two enemies stood among the rocks
Yarofey's agile horse tapped its hoof
And Morglen's vicious steed bared its teeth in a snarl
Yarofey grasped his sword
Raising it with a shout above his head
His glorious horse took off
Like a straight arrow towards the foe
And Morglen's ominous horse
Rushed to meet them head-on
The clash began instantly
The clang of steel echoed among the rocks
But Yarofey retreated more and more, stepped back again and again
Morglen's evil horse, baring its teeth, attacked with a roar
What kind of misfortune is this!
Yarofey wondered in dismay
How strong it is! And his horse
A mad and aggressive beast
It tries with its hoof
To split and knock out the shield
And with its teeth it tries
To grab hold of the arm
Blood splattered from the wound
A death cry rang out
Yarofey fell to the ground
His glorious horse bowed its head
And Morglen, with a booming bass voice,
Laughed and said:
"You shouldn't have messed with me,
And your end has come!"
And the terrible horse rushed forward
Opening its maw wide
To destroy the wounded warrior
To tear him apart
But at the last moment
Yarofey leaped aside
And behind him, an abyss opened
And the beast plunged into it
Together with the furious horse, Morglen fell deeper and deeper
And there they spread like a bloody puddle on the cave floor
