Лихое время Франция знавала
Бывало, и шуты стояли у руля
И жадные до власти кардиналы
Как в шахматы судьбой играли короля
Истории не новые сюжеты
Величие и власть, гордыни торжество
Но истина достойна слов поэта
"Один за всех, и все за одного!"

Когда кругом лжецы и лицемеры
Где маска, где лицо - самим бы разобрать
И за интриги грешной королевы
К чему бы вам опять собою рисковать
Но синие глаза прекрасной девы
Полны мольбы немой и нежности такой
Что рыцарь, окрыленный ее верой
Ликуя сердцем, снова рвется в бой

Его глаза сияют ярче стали
И шарма шевалье не сбавит новый шрам
Такие лишь веками побеждали
На гордость королю и к зависти врагам
Но жизнь, увы, не знает компромиссов
И не замедлит время бег ни для кого
И вот, уже, не стало Арамиса
