Встал, покинул зал
Сказав, что кончен бал

Ведь каждый отдыхал
И не страдал

И каждый был доволен
Что попал на бал
И вскоре будет новый бал
С известным скрипачом

The Fiddler

The whole hall is filled with a ball
A noisy carnival
A fiddler played for everyone
And the hall danced and clapped with pleasure
But the fiddler played and grieved deeply
Because the whole hall
Did not understand
How good the violin sounds

And so the fiddler grew tired
He stood up, left the hall
Saying that the ball was over
And the ball is over
And the hall suddenly empties
And no one knew how tired the fiddler was
