Старый человек так жил:
Ненавидел новый день.
Он младенцев не любил,
Новых не хотел людей.
Новостям он был не рад,
Новых книг он не читал.
Кто-то новый - это гад.
Он от этого устал.
Он любил всё, что прошло,
Что случилось и давно,
Что ему так подошло,
Было для него оно.
Хоть и в прошлом был изьян,
Он его не замечал.
Памятью смертельно пьян
Он на новое кричал.
Говорил, что так нельзя,
Что так не было во век.
Жаль, что померли друзья.
Он - последний человек.
Говорил, что всем конец,
То, что он несчастлив тут.
Тот, кто в прошлом - тот мертвец
Того в будущем не ждут.
Бог бы с ним, так и ушёл
Все там будем, что тужить?
Жалко, мог бы хорошо,
Весело в конце пожить.
