יש ערמה של חברה על הדשא
אני דברים כאלה מחבב
בנים בנות ביחד, זה יפה ש -
יש אומץ לפעמים להתערבב.

שרים שירים ומביטים למעלה
ענן שם בירח מסתבן
חושבים במי להתאהב הלילה
אם כי הרהור כזה רק מעצבן.

מתחת לראשי מונחת ירך
ועל בטני צרור תלתלים מוטל
בלאט יוצאות ידיים אל הדרך
ומסלולן ארוך ומפותל.

גומרים לשיר ומקשיבים רב קשב
בינינו מתפתלות לחשושיות
יש הסתננויות בתוך העשב
כי יש בו כל מיני גבשושיות.

כיוון שתרדמה עלי נופלת
שוב אין אני מצליח לאתר
של מי היד אשר עלי זוחלת
ואת גופי הופכת לפסנתר.

וכשאני מקיץ אין איש בדשא
וקצת קריר וקצת רטוב מטל.
ולהפתעתי אני רואה ש-
אותו צרור תלתלים עלי מוטל.

ומתוכו אלי שוחקות עיניים
ומתוכו אלי מבהיק צוואר
אני שואל: "הי, מה העניניים?"
היא בחיוך עונה לי: "שום דבר."

שואל: "גם את ישנת?" - עונה: "לאו דוקא"
ותשובתה אותי קצת מביכה.
שואל: "אז מה בעצם את עושה כאן?"
שפתיה לוחשות: "אני איתך."
אני שותק. שפתיים היא נושכת
אני שותק וכה כבדות ידי
פתאום היא מסתובבת והולכת
ורק אני שותק עוד שם.

Grassland Fairy Tale

A group of people are scattered on the grass,
I like stuff like that.
Boys and girls together, it's nice that-
Sometimes there's courage to mix.

Singing songs and looking up,
A cloud bathes in the moon.
Thinking who to fall in love with tonight,
Though such a thought is only annoying.

A hip is resting under my head,
And a bundle of curls is on my stomach.
Hands reach out onto the road,
And their path is long and winding.

We finish singing and listen attentively,
Whispers weave between us.
There are infiltrations into the grass,
Because there are all sorts of bumps.

Sleep falls over me.
Again I can't find
Whose hand is crawling over me
And is turning my body into a piano.

And when I awake, there's nobody on the grass.
And it's a little chilly and a little wet, with dew.
And to my surprise, I see-
The same bundle of curls is on me.

And from it, a pair of eyes are smiling at me,
And from it, a neck shines out at me.
I ask, "Hey, what's going on?"
She answers with a smile, "Nothing."

I ask, "Were you asleep too?" She answers, "Not really."
And her answer confuses me a little.
I ask, "So what exactly are you doing here?"
Her lips whisper, "I'm with you."
I am silent. She bites her lip.
I am silent and my hands are so heavy.
Suddenly she turns around and walks away,
And only I remain silent there.
