A Legend

At five, the hunter woke
And left his home.
He marched into the forest
And his bow.
Until evening he circled,
His way did not succeed.

He returned to the village,
And behold a pair of swans
In the river.
White and beautiful,
Loving and upright,

He shot an arrow at one.
