כבר צריך להתעורר
את האוטובוס לא לאחר
ולעבודה, יוצא אל הרחוב.
אנשים עומדים בתחנה

מצטופפים כולם יותר פנימה,

נעלם בין כל הניירות,
מחפש עתיד במגירות
ועבודה, אין לי רגע פנאי.
ולפעמים שאין לי חשק,
נופל חסר אונים מחוץ לעסק.
ואז צפור קטנה
מלחשת באזני אל תכנע.
בחמש נועל את המשרד
וחוזר הביתה מקומט
מהעבודה, אל המקרר.
למיטה נכנס אך לא ישן,
השכן שלי מנגן שופן

קשה לדעת מה יום ילד לו
אבל אני בעד להתעורר בו,
