تمسكن معي وإبليس يطلع معه مسكين
تعوّذ شياطين الملا من . شياطينه
يقدم عسل صافي والملعقة سكّين
لذيذ(ن) مذاقه والخطر في . سكاكينه
هو ولّع في حبه نار وأسقيتها بنزين
وقد كنت في حبه من أكبر . مجانينه
ضربني بكى مني سبقني مع الشاكين
ولا عاد أصدق لو يقّدم . براهينه
ومن حبه الخاطر لو إنه سكن في الصين
بازوره في دار(ن) ما عرفنا . عناوينه
وباتكلم معه صيني ونسكن سوى بّكين
وآكل بالعصي وأمشي معه في . قوانينه

Assal

Do obsequiousness with me and the devil comes out with you, oh poor thing.
The devils of the archangels seek refuge from his devils.
He presents pure honey and the spoon is a knife.
His taste is delicious but the danger lies in his knives.
He lit a fire in my love for him and I poured gasoline on it.
And I was one of the biggest fools in my love for him.
He hit me, I cried, he was ahead of me with the complainers.
And I do not believe him anymore, even if he presents his proofs.
And from the love of my heart, if he lived in China,
His house would be in our neighborhood, but we do not know his address.
