قِف بالطوافِ ترى الغزال المحرما
حج الحجيج وعاد يقصدُ زمزما
عند الطواف رأيتها
متلثمه
للركن والحجر المعظم تلثما

فقلت بالله العظيم لتخبري . من أنتي؟
قالت: من سلالة آدما
الاسم سلمى
والمنازل مكه
والدار ما بين الحجون وغيلمه

قلت: عديني موعداً احظى به
واقضي به ما قد أتم المحرما
فتبسمت خجلاً
وقالت: يا فتى افسدت حجَك يا محلَ المحرَما

Lek Ya Mohammed

Stand in tawaf and see the beautiful gazelle,
The pilgrims have made their hajj and are returning to Zamzam,
I saw you at tawaf,
You were veiled,
At the corner and the great stone, you unveiled.

I asked you by God to tell me who you are?
She said: I am from the lineage of Adam,
My name is Salma,
And I live in Mecca,
And my house is between Al-Jun and Ghilamah.

I said: Promise me an appointment so that I may enjoy it,
And satisfy what the pilgrim has completed.
She smiled shyly,
And said: Oh, young man, you have corrupted your hajj, you place of pilgrimage.
