سورة الشمس

بِسۡــمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا ﴿١﴾
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلاهَا ﴿٢﴾
وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلاهَا ﴿٣﴾
وَاللَّیْلِ إِذَا یَغْشَاهَا ﴿٤﴾
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا ﴿٥﴾
وَالأرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا ﴿٦﴾
وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا ﴿٧﴾
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا ﴿٨﴾
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَکَّاهَا ﴿٩﴾
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَا ﴿١٠﴾
کَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا ﴿١١﴾
إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا ﴿١٢﴾
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْیَاهَا ﴿١٣﴾
فَکَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا
فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَیْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا ﴿١٤﴾
وَلا یَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا ﴿١٥﴾

Surat Ash-Shams

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sun and its brightness
And the moon when it follows it
And the day when it displays it
And the night when it covers it
And the heaven and Him who built it
And the earth and Him who spread it
And a soul and Him who perfected it
Then He inspired it [with] its wickedness and its righteousness
He has succeeded who purifies it
And he has failed who corrupts it
Thamud denied [the truth] through their transgression
When their most wicked one arose
And the Messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "This is the she-camel of Allah and her drink."
But they denied him and hamstrung her
So their Lord destroyed them for their sin and made them equal [in destruction]
And He does not fear the consequences of it
