The black ships that visited Shimoda harbor,
Sway far out at sea.
Traveling by palanquin, tossed by the times,
A beautiful woman, fair of face.

On Tojinzaka, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom,
Each person's thoughts wander.
If she cries, the flowers in the single vase will scatter,
Her alluring figure in the spring evening.

On the moonlit path,
The wet eyelashes of the camellia.
Abandoning the world, chased by the world,
She departs for Inao Sawa.

What was sung about the dawn crow,
