In the depths of the forbidden forest, in a small stable,
Slumbers a raven-haired maiden.
Since childhood, the princess,
Was cast into the forest by her wicked stepmother.
Princes and knights, hearing of her plight,
Bravely sought to make her their bride.
But her fortress remained impenetrable,
A silent prison of her own making.
The whispers of the forest masked her pain,
Keeping it forever out of reach.
No one could save the sleeping princess,
The true ending of the fairy tale remains unknown.
Time passed, and the princess faded from memory,
But the fairy tale lived on.
Countless princes and knights have failed,
Unable to thaw her frozen heart.
The maiden's dream, born of her own desires,
Is a fragile illusion, a fleeting fantasy.
She knows no prince will come to her rescue,
Yet she waits for an awakening that will never come.
No one could save the sleeping princess,
The end of the fairy tale, she must rewrite herself.
One day, her silken, raven hair will sway
In the gentle breeze, and she will awaken.
Her impenetrable fortress will crumble,
And the prison of her own making will shatter.
The whisper of the forest will reach her at last,
Carrying her pain away.
The maiden's dream, born of her own desires,
Is a fragile illusion, a fleeting fantasy.
She knows no prince will come to her rescue,
Yet she waits for an awakening that will never come.
No one could save the sleeping princess,
But the end of the fairy tale, she will create herself.
