おんなのこが ひとりきり
斑(まだら)のGecko 肩に乗せ

籠の中に スグリの実
拾い集めた 鳥の羽根
柱時計 響いた 昼下がり
少女の右の目は
顕微鏡のレンズが
金庫のダイヤルを
開けるように 回すよ
くるくるる ほら踊るよう
地下のラボを うろうろ
調べてる？うそ？遊んでいるの？
プクプク フラスコ 沸いた
じりじりり ほら真剣に
怪しい粉 混ぜてる
鍵穴の 外漂ってくる
ベルガモットの香りが
ホルマリンに漬けられた
片手がお留守 フレンチドール
蛇の殻と メダイユ フランボワーズ
少女の指先は
ピンセットの爪のよう
蝶々の羽根つまみ
魚の型 並べた
くるくるる 難しそうな
本を調べ ボソボソ
探しもの？ただ 読書してるの？
その時 ベルが 鳴ったの
あちあちち ほら慎重に
熱いものを取り出す
鍵穴の 外漂ってくる
砂糖の焦げた匂い
レンズの目 鍵穴を見つめて
「出来ました」と 僕を誘った

Keyhole Lab

If I peek through the keyhole,
there's a girl all alone,
with a dappled gecko on her shoulder,
singing a humming tune.
Inside the cage, there are gooseberries,
and bird feathers she collected.
A grandfather clock chimed in the afternoon,
and the girl's right eye
was a lens of a microscope
as she turned the dial of a safe
like she was opening it.
Round and round, like a dance,
she wanders around the underground lab.
Is she researching? Lying? Playing?
The flask is bubbling,
sizzling seriously.
She's mixing some suspicious powder.
From outside the keyhole
floats the scent of bergamot.
One of her hands, preserved in formalin
is missing from the French doll.
A snake's skin, a medallion, and raspberries;
the girl's fingertips
are like the claws of tweezers.
She's picking up butterfly wings,
lining up fish molds.
Round and round, it seems complicated,
she's reading a book, mumbling,
searching? Just reading?

From outside the keyhole
floats the smell of burnt sugar.
The eye of the lens stared through the keyhole.
