I slept in my mother's arms, raised by the moonlight
I learned to sell firewood and went to the streets in the rain

In the blink of an eye, I'm a student, flying high, afraid to learn
This little warrior, adrift like a swallow, doesn't understand

I'm lazy, I'm lazy, I'm thirty
The world is too cruel
Ten great ambitions, nine without a clue
When I realize it, I'm already at my wit's end

The Kongming lantern rises to a height of ten thousand feet
Life's myriad worries are hard to turn into feelings, oh
The Kongming lantern is not high enough
I write down my wishes and ask heaven to return my years, oh

I look at the dull wedding ring, the icy future
The road is long, and the rhythm of my steps is too unsteady

These shoulders bear an unpaid debt, and there's no signpost in sight
