From fluffy clouds, the sunlight beams, get up
Today's a beautiful day, I wake up with a spring in my step
Lazy breakfast for one, but I'm all set
Cereal and fruit, with plenty of milk
Once I have my bitter tea, I'll add a mint leaf
Iced Earl Grey tea, I'll drink it all
Squeezed-fresh for morning, a boost of Vitamin C for my soul
I need to nourish myself
So much sunlight, a gift from above
When I'm bathed in its radiant glow, I feel my spirit soar

When I wake up, I take a shower and finish
Straighten my back and step outside
A day unlike yesterday, let's go find it
A leisurely day off, I make my plans
I ride my bike to the station, the breeze feels wonderful
Tickling my skin, I crave the summer
I watch the hurried crowds, enjoying my solitude
I feel like I'm fading into transparency
In this sweet slumber, I find time for self-care
