I lose my way to the antique stalls,
My mind is adrift as I walk further and further,
I fall asleep in a hostel and board a plane,
To free myself from an old love,

Still wandering. The next stop is the other shore.
I, a clueless outsider, watch from outside,
The Earth is silent.
In my old backpack,
There is only a body, wandering far away.
I linger in a temporary bedroom and lie still for now,
There is no climax or fall.
In what place, in what direction,
I do not know which bed I will fall in love with.
To visit Westminster Abbey, how empty it is,
To pass by the buildings, how desolate they are,
To stay in a foreign land and not be able to escape the Iron Curtain,
To listen to the love songs of the past with my Walkman,
To dream of heaven in the sanctuary.
To wander. And then,
Still wandering. With you, I cross to the other shore.
