暁やぶる ときの声
竜虎の勇姿 雲を呼ぶ

ああ 狭霧も晴れし 川中島よ
耳を澄ませば また今も
強者どもの 勝鬨が

田毎の月に 星の海
こころが清く 洗われる

ああ 旅人ひとり 川中島よ
決めた道なら 大志なら
明日を目指し いざ行かん

Reminiscence of Kawanakajima

Gazing down at the Chikuma River's flow,
The wind of that day blows through.

Ah, Kawanakajima of the warriors,
Even as seasons and eras turn,
History remains in this heart of mine.

Whispering whips, a silent river crossing at night,

The dawn breaks with a resounding cry,
The heroic figures of dragon and tiger summon the clouds.

Ah, Kawanakajima, where the dense fog clears,
If I listen closely, even now,
I hear the warriors' cries of victory.

The moon in every rice paddy, a sea of stars,
My heart is cleansed, pure and clear.

Ah, Kawanakajima, I, a lone traveler,
If the path is decided, if ambition burns bright,
Towards tomorrow, let us go forth!
