脖子上 掛著阿母求來的平安符
沾著神明傾倒的高粱酒香
手掌心 捧著天公爐落下的香灰
燒著菩薩傾聽的誠心誠意

祈求
天公伯啊 請祢保庇 保庇我 平安健康
天公伯啊 請祢保庇 保庇伊 快樂幸福

只要伊快樂幸福 我不求大富大貴
只要我平安順勢 我不求會出頭天

At the village entrance, the red-shirted wind master
His paint peeling, then repainted
Silently watching my silhouette leave home
Day by day, fading

On the gatepost, the fluttering red door guardian
Pasted, torn, then pasted again
Secretly counting the days until my homecoming
Year after year, with joy

Around my neck, the talisman blessed by my mother
Infused with the heady scent of sorghum wine poured by the gods
In my palm, the incense ash from the heavenly furnace
Burning with the sincerity heard by the bodhisattva
