夜風

蝉の鳴き声も聞こえぬほど
無我夢中で走りぬけた堤防の道
通学路とは反対のほうで
通りなれてない道なんだけど

徐々に落ちていく日と
空の色には気づいていたから
とにかくペダルをこいだ

過ぎ去った夜風に花びら
打ちあがる音 背にして
疲れを忘れ速度を上げた
夏空に咲いた花びら
キミと二人で見上げて
やたらとくだらない話でもして
そんなことを思い出してた

流れてく体と景色が
同じ色に混ざっていった

キミも見上げてるかなぁ
この夜空に咲き誇る満開の花

過ぎ去った夜風に花びら
打ちあがる音 背にして
いつかキミと見たあの場所に
今年もまた咲いた花びら
僕は一人で見上げるよ

涙ぬぐいながら走っていくよ
夏草とキミの香りが夜風に揺れるあの場所に

Evening Breeze

The cicadas' cries were inaudible,
I ran as fast as I could along the embankment,
In the opposite direction of my school,
Though I wasn't familiar with this path.

I was aware of the sun setting,
And the sky changing color,
So I continued to pedal.

Petals in the evening breeze,
Carried by the wind,
I forgot my exhaustion and sped up,
Petals blooming in the summer sky,
We watched them together,
Even talking about nonsense,
Those things I remember.

My body and the scenery flowed,
Intertwining in the same color.

Do you look up too,
At these flowers in full bloom in the night sky?

Petals in the evening breeze,
Carried by the wind,
In that place where we once watched,
The petals bloom again this year,
I watch them alone.

I run with tears in my eyes,
To that place where the summer grass and your scent mingle in the evening breeze.
