桜並木のほうにふわふわと漂う
七色の丸い玉
力いっぱい吹いてみる

駄菓子屋のおまけだった
シャボン玉で暇をつぶす

ちゃんと決めてきたのに
今日も言えなくて
きっと勘が鋭いから気づいてる気がする

なんが言えないままの
たったひと言を
ずっと先延ばしの心 ユラユラ揺らいで

別に秘密にする理由など無いのに
タイミング計ってたら
どんどん言えなくなってく

小さめの泡の群れが
強めの風に飛んで弾けた

ちょっと胸が痛んで
ちょっとうつむいて
ずっとこのままじゃいられないことを知っている

でもうまい言葉が
まだ浮かばなくて
ずっと先延ばしの心 ユラユラ揺らいで

せいいっぱい息を吹きこんだ
特大のシャボン玉は
僕の重い気持ちにひっぱられ
草の上であっけなく弾けた

ちょっと胸が痛んで
ちょっとうつむいて
ちょっと君の家までこれから行こうかな なんて

もっとうまく言えたら
もっと素直なら
きっと君のこと傷つけないですむのかな

Soap Bubble

Fluffy, drifting yonder by the cherry tree row
A round ball of seven hues
I blow with all my might

It was an extra prize from the candy shop
I while away the hours with my soap bubble

I dressed up smartly as I'd planned
But I couldn't speak my mind today

A cluster of smaller bubbles
Burst into the air, carried by a strong gust of wind

An enormous soap bubble

It burst pitifully on the grass
