時間在理順我的汗毛 而有日我亦會剃鬚
忘記是人生天賜最大方法活到更好
哪個做到 無喜惡恨愛便能得道
受過苦口裡只會講 卻怎麼做到
人哪裡會看破劫數

到底甚麼放低甚麼不放低
在生記得難道會失禮
如來佛祖都心虧
唸過心經會否將愛縮細
但我追憶會否超過今世

Great Love

Numerous ex-boyfriends accompanied you day and night
I still love you until the flowers wither
Before leaving, all you could say was "thank you"
How can I repay your kindness

Why is it that after you're gone, we seem more like lovers
For the rest of my life, I can only fantasize to torture myself
My tears could form a flood
What is real, what is an illusion? How can I chase after the departed

Truth is, what should I let go of, and what should I not let go of
Letting go is easy when the mind is clear
Even the Buddha feels regret
Can Buddhist principles help me let go everything

All those years, I was tormented day and night
So you're also reluctant to let go
With only friendship, I earned a special thank you
So I am worthy of keeping watch during your final moments

Your body withered away, your illness made you imperfect
For the first time in my life, we shared a kiss goodbye
My wish was fulfilled, I felt happiness, sadness, life, and death
Our fate ended, but I still remember

Truth is, what should I let go of, and what should I not let go of
I can't completely forget everything
Even the Buddha feels regret
I can't let go of the burdens I once had

Time organizes my emotions, and one day I will shave my beard
Forgetting is the best way to live a better life
Who can truly let go of love, hate, and desire
They say to endure hardship silently, but how can one do it
We can't escape the cycle of life and death

Truth is, what should I let go of, and what should I not let go of
Remembering in this life is not a sin
Even the Buddha feels regret
Will chanting the Heart Sutra make me love you less
Will my memories of you fade in time
