没坐井观天

Waiting to Love

Never content with a limited scope,
I ventured far in search of the sea,
Certain of its existence,
Believing that one day,
I would stand on the stargazing platform,
Finding the true love of my life.
Gazing up at the stars,
Walking on paths covered in moss,
Injured ten times over,
A ragged rail line hidden beneath,
With each new start,
I stumbled in the rat race,
Questioning my own resilience.
Waiting on the platform,
My heart in the future,
Only fearing that my passion might fade,
Endless partings,
Another train pulls up,
Still yearning for love in the distance.
Waiting, but he never comes,

Almost getting used to this disappointing platform.
Must the heavens open?
